Chilli Chicken – Mangalore style

Ingredients
For batter:
1 cup maida
1 egg
Salt
Food color – 1 pinch
Mix all these ingredients well with little water to a dosa batter consistency
Chicken boneless – 2 cups
Onion (long cut) – 2 cups
Green chillies – 6-8
Soy sauce – 1 tsp
Salt
Tomato sauce – 1 cup
Cooking Instructions
Dip the chicken pieces in the maida batter and deep fry until golden brown
In a kadai take 4 tsp oil
Add onion and fry until golden brown
Add green chillies
After the onions have turned into light brown add soy sauce, tomato sauce, salt, red food color
Stir until all the ingredients are mixed well
Now add the fried chicken and stir well for 5-8 minutes under high flame
Garnish with daniya leaves.
