Arundhati is the name of telugu movie which is produced by Shyam Prasad Reddy and directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. In Tamil, the movie is produced by Sri Thenandal Films of Rama Narayanan. The tamil Movie is going to be released all over the world from 20th March 2009. The starcast includes Anushka in dual role, Manorama, Shayaji Shinde, Sonu Sood, Deepak, Satyanarayana, annapoorna and others.

The movie has got right mixture of content and technology . The film has more violence and it is advised not to take children to the movie. Story and the screenplay is excellent. The story (flashback scenes) are shown in parts and this makes to stick to the screenplay. This movie can be branded as a new thriller for tamil and telugu movies. Anushka has given top most performance in the role of jejeamma and she is the backbone of the movie and performed to the mark. Sonu Sood as womaniser and evil force done exceptionally well. Shayaji Shinde in the role of muslim priest has given wonderful performance.

Despite many logic less scenes, it gives unique experience for the viewers. This movie is all set to be remade in Hindi. There are rumours that Asin will act in Hindi version and also rumours that either Kajol Devgan or Rani Mukherjee may be asked to do in Hindi. It is also rumoured that Tamil Super Star will be offered the role of Shayaji Shinde’s Telugu Version and Sharukh Khan will be offered the villain role.
